The Royal Gendarmerie of Genovia (RGG) (French Royal Gendarmerie de Genovia/RGG or Gendarmerie Royale de Genovia/Gendarmerie Royale du Genovia/GRG) was also known as the Royal Genovian Gendarmerie & Military Police (French: Police Militaire et Gendarmerie Royale de Genovia/Police Militaire et Gendarmerie Royale du Genovia/PMGRG) & Gendarmerie & Military Police of the Kingdom of Genovia (RGGMP/RGMPKG) (French: Gendarmerie et Police Militaire du Royaume de Genovia/GRPMRG) is a military branch and service branches of the Royal Genovian Armed Forces and it is responsible for the maintenance of public order and internal security in the Kingdom of Genovia.

History[]

The Royal Gendarmerie of Genovia (RGG) was established on February 18, 1830, under the general supervision of the Monarchy Government of the Kingdom of Genovia and Thermopolis Islands, by the authority of Monarchy Act No.71843 of the First Commission of the Kingdom of Genovia, to maintain peace, law, and order in the various provinces of the Mainland Genovia and Thermopolis Islands. By the end of 1830, a total of 6,480 officers, 4,200 commanders and 17,000 gendarmerie soldiers had been commissioned.

The Royal Gendarmerie of Genovia was assisted of the Royal Genovian Armed Forces in combating the remaining insurrection and conflicts for the Anti-Revolutionary engagements was stop them on the republicans and nationalist rebels to defend on Genovia.
